Our Mission

The Better Project exists to provide programs, resources and opportunities that enable young people from vulnerable communities to reach their full potential.

Our Vision

A world in which children from all walks of life have pathways to opportunity.

Our Values and Guiding Principles

Collaboration

At the core of what we do is collaboration. We are certain to get more done together, than individually. Our goal is to develop a strong community network to aid and support at-risk youth and their families.

Empowerment

Committed to the principles of personal growth and educational development, we aim to support youth, families, and communities through the provision of high-impact opportunities.

Service

We believe that every interaction leaves an impression. We strive to show love and compassion to the people we serve and find joy in not only meeting their needs, but surpassing their expectations.

Integrity

We say what we mean, and mean what we say. We honor our commitments, treat everyone equitably, and engage in open and honest communication.

Accountability

We believe that accountability is one of the most important differentiators between success and failure. When people feel accountable to the outcome, they tend to be more invested in the solution.

Commitment & Determination

We believe in the power of pursing our goals. Especially when facing adversity, we lean into our organizational mantra: Do more. Work harder. Be better.
